After a one month break, British F4 started again with its only overseas race of the season - the Formula 1 track, Zandvoort. In free practice, Jarrett was fastest.
Quali is always a bit of a challenge in F4 - mainly due to large number of drivers on track. The biggest risk is that a crash will interrupt the session just as you are about to do your flying lap. And this is exactly what happened to Jarrett, this led him to qualifying 13th on his fastest lap, and 11th on his second fastest lap.
In the first race, Jarrett started 11th, and drove superbly to finish 7th, with a couple of excellent overtakes. In the second race, Jarrett started 13th, and finished 7th, another great drive!
In the final race, Jarrett started 13th, but car trouble saw him retire on the first lap. Jarrett showed great pace, and good driving, but was unlucky in quali and with a mechanical isssue. Most encouraging was his ability to overtake and gain places. At the halfway point of the season, Jarrett is 9th in the championship, but looks primed to move higher.
