Jarrett came to Silverstone, after a fairly forgettable round at Croft, and performed extremely well to have his highest point scoring weekend in F4!
Jarrett had shown good pace in practice, but in qualification his fastest lap was slightly impeded as he caught the car in front. Despite this, he qualified 9th fastest on his fastest lap, and 7th fastest on his second fastest lap. This meant we would start 10th in the first race (7th plus three grid place penalty), 4th in the second race (top 12 reverse grid) and 9th in the final feature race.
The first race saw many incidents and two safety cars. Fortunately, Jarrett was able to keep clear to finish 4th after starting 10th, one of his best results of the season. In the second race, Jarrett started 3rd, and put heavy pressure on the second placed driver. He was not able to pass him, but the driver who started second received a track limit penalty which pushed Jarrett to 2nd.
In the final race, Jarrett drove well to finish 7th moving up from 9th on the starting grid. This was the second weekend where Jarrett scored points in all three races, and moved him to tenth in the Championship, with one event left. A very satisfying outcome.
