After the excitement of Jarrett’s maiden win at Brand’s Hatch, we moved on to back to back race weeks at Snetterton and Silverstone.
First came Snetterton with sweltering temperatures. The team seemed to struggle a bit with pace, with Jarrett qualifying in 10th position. The racing was full of incidents however, Jarrett managed to pick up a few points by finishing 10th, 10th and 9th over the three races.
The championship moved on to Silverstone the next week for the reinstated International Trophy. With Jarrett qualifying 7th fastest.
In the first race, there were a number of incidents, with other drivers, which saw Jarrett cross the line in 5th, but after penalties was promoted to 3rd.
In the second race, Jarrett came in 5th adding valuable points.
In the final outing, a racing incident on the first lap saw Jarrett exiting into the gravel as he had nowhere to go, and was unable to continue.
After Silverstone, Jarrett is now 9th in the Championship.
There is now a much needed one month break, whilst engines are equalised. The championship then moves on to Zandvoort for round 5 in July.
