After racing in Europe for most of the year, we return to the UK for the two last big races of the season - the 5th and final round of the Champions of the Future Series, and World Championship next week, both being held at Paul Fletcher International (PFI) in Lincolnshire, UK.
Jarrett has had success at PFI before, and showed great promise in practice. In qualification, which has been a problem this year, Jarrett qualified 4th fastest in his group and 15th overall. In a field of 120 drivers, this was great start.
Jarrett had 6 heats. The first two in dry conditions, he finished 4th and 5th, and in the next two wet weather heats he finished 2nd and 1st! He followed this up with 5th and 2nd place finishes in this last two heats. This great set of results meant that Jarrett finished 4th overall after heats.
In the Super heat, Jarrett finished 5th, and due to his final points tally he started the final 5th. In a highly competitive final, Jarrett crossed the line 6th, and finished 4th after penalties - an excellent result.
With this great final race, Jarrett has ended up finishing 12th in the Championship out of 170 drivers, a fantastic achievement.
Jarrett is finding form at the right time with the World Championship this week.
