Back to the heat of Cremona for the 4th round of the FIA European Kart Championship. Again good pace in warm ups was offset by a poor qualifying time that saw Jarrett starting mid-pack in the heats.
However, despite starting back in 15th, Jarrett was able to secure two top 10 finishes in his heats. Going into the last day, Jarrett was ranked 36 out of 90 drivers. With the top 36 driver making the final, Jarrett just needed to hold his position in the superheat to qualify for the final.
Unfortunately, in the superheat he was hit by another kart, and saw his track rod get bent, forcing him to retire.
Jarrett was so close to his breakthrough race when he makes the final, but fell just short. However, we look forward to rest of this season and next year knowing that Jarrett now has the pace and race craft to make finals.
