Jarrett was set for a fast time in qualification at WSK Super Master Series in Franciacorta. He was setting fast laps coming into the final lap of qualification, when disaster hit as another driver hit Jarrett off the track. Jarrett went from one of the fastest to 21st fastest in his group, 61st overall.
Battling through qualification from the back was hard work, and after the heats he was in P43.
Going into the pre-final, Jarrett was starting 22nd, and would need to get past most of the field to have any hope of qualifying for the final.
And in the pre-final he did exactly that, going from 22nd to 8th with one lap to go, when disaster struck again. The tube from the radiator of the kart directly in front of Jarrett came loose after a crash, spilling water on to the track, and causing Jarrett to go off. There was nothing he could have done to avoid the water. If he had finished in 8th, he would have been in the final. Disappointing and unlucky results, but with the speed he is showing, the potential is evident.
