Jarrett moved back to Italy for round 1 of the WSK Euro Series. Here Jarrett put in a strong qualification effort to finish 5th fastest in his group, placing him 9th overall out of 70 drivers. In his three heats, Jarrett finished 3rd, 4th and 6th - leaving him sitting pretty in 7th after the heats.
But in the pre final, disaster hit, as his engine oiled up on the formation lap, and from a 4th place start, fell to the back of the grid, 5 seconds behind the rest of the field as the lights went out. Showing great determination, he managed to get back to 18th, and this dropped him back to a 16th place start in the final.
In the final Jarrett drove well, to finish 9th, While a pleasing result, we were left to rue what might have been if he had kept his pre-final position. Nevertheless Jarrett got to demonstrate and show his skill, capability and potential.
