Jarrett returned to Slovakia for round 3 of the FIA European Championship. Hopes were high, as Jarrett had shown real speed at the same track for round 3 of RGMMC Champions of the Future series 2 weeks earlier. However, a disastrous qualifying where he got caught behind a slow driver meant that Jarrett qualified 25th fastest in his group, and 74th overall out of 90 drivers. He had a mountain to climb to make the final, which was for the top 36 drivers.
Jarrett almost did climb the mountain, gaining places in every heat and in one heat going from 25th to 9th.
However, bad wet tyres slowed him down in the one wet race of the weekend. He finished 38th after heats, missing out on the final by 2 spots. A disappointing result.
