We return to Franciacorta for the final round of the Champions of the Future. Jarrett’s last race weekend saw him qualify for the final, and he was hoping to repeat the feat again. In qualification, Jarrett drove intelligently to qualify 4th fastest in his group!
With a good qualifying under his belt, Jarrett was well positioned for good results in the heats. In his first heat he finished 5th.
Unfortunately in his second heat, disaster struck, as his engine would not start, and he was forced to start from the back of the field, and got caught in a collision as he tried to come through the field.
Despite this setback, Jarrett continued to race well, securing six out of seven top 10 finishes in his heats. At the end of the heats, Jarrett was ranked 31st out of 130 drivers.
Jarrett had a good super heat, which saw him qualify for the final once again, where only 36 out of the 130 drivers make it. The final was a rough and tumble affair, with 11 of the 36 drivers failing to finish, and Jarrett was caught up in a first lap, multi-kart crash. Despite this, it was a fantastic weekend, and Jarrett is now beginning to establish himself as a driver who can compete with the best.
