Jarrett competed in the 2nd Round of the FIA Karting Championship at Val Dargenton in France. In practice, Jarrett was one of the fastest in his group, and he turned this into a 3rd place in group finish in his qualifying.
In Jarrett’s first heat, a collision led him to have DNF.
Jarrett went on to have a 2nd place finish in a heat, his best result yet. But oddly, when on wet tyres, where Jarrett usually excels, he lacked grip. There has been an issue this year with tyres and there is a lot variability in the tyres. Unfortunately Jarrett couldn’t seem to get them to work.
Despite setbacks, Jarrett showed great speed, and qualified for the final. Hopefully in future races he will be able to show his speed and race craft through the entire event.
